The holiday season is just around the corner and most families are anticipating all the preparation and gift-giving they need to do that leads up to having a "memory-making" celebration. It’s an exciting and wonderful time of year for most families!
However, within some families, there is a husband or a wife who has been quietly planning to change the course of their life after the holidays. Often this internal decision comes as a surprise to everyone around them. A decision to file for divorce on the first day back to school in January has already been made because the situation they find themselves in has become hopeless, at least for them.
This time of year, and these decisions at this time of year - unfortunately, are not uncommon. This is a season filled with pressures - on a family, and on a marriage.
What if instead of hopelessness they are able to embrace Hope in the midst of the busyness?
What if the Hope they find is not only readily available but also provides encouragement for everyone involved?
What if these families and marriages not only stay together but end up completely intact and stronger than ever?
Opportunities for this to happen are real and within their reach.
If you work with couples as a church staff member, pastor, therapist or couple leader, this event will equip you to better provide hope and care for the married couples who come to you in crisis, stress, and despair.
Today’s guests bring a glimpse of the hope and impact you are able to bring into a couple's world. There IS a path forward for a marriage to become stronger and more fulfilling.
Join us for a free lunch as we hear from:
Kasey Smith - Licensed Professional Counselor and full time Hope Restored Marriage Intensive Therapist, Jon Anderson - Growing Love Network/Love Reboot, & Jamie Patterson - Family Law Attorney of Bray, Chappel, Patterson & Olsen, Inc.
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
“For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”
Romans 8:24-25
